Cowgirls Rides Back To Screens For Third Season

The Fan-Favorite Series Returns to RIDE TV on Women’s Equality Day

RIDE TV is excited to announce that the
long-awaited third season of Cowgirls is premiering on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, which coincides with Women’s Equality Day – this year marking the 100th anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment.

Cowgirls returns with the familiar faces of stars Duke Wimberly, Sarah (Brown) Armstrong, Jane Revercomb, Rainey (Gibbs) Williams and Brittany Miller. Audiences will also be introduced to some new characters and competitors throughout the season, including stock contractor Melissa Slayton. These girls are fearless – repeatedly laying everything on the line for the thrill of an eight-second ride and the relentless fight for the season championship.

“[This season] is a whole new view on the reality of the lady bronc rider lifestyle,” said Sarah Armstrong, Cowgirls Cast Member. “It dives deeper than ever before into the challenges of the sport, the wild times on the road and even more of our lives at home. Most importantly, Cowgirls shows strong women in what’s considered a “man’s sport,” and it empowers women in all walks of life to go for it!”

Season three of Cowgirls will take viewers on a wild ride. From competing in major rodeo arenas around the country at PBR Velocity Tour events to some life-changing reveals that will alter the course of our Cowgirls’ journey together, this season is like nothing we have seen from this show before. Each Cowgirl is coming into her own as the girls establish themselves as fierce competitors in the rodeo arena.

“Our fans have been hounding us for months about this new season of Cowgirls, so we are thrilled to tell them that the wait is finally over!” said Craig Morris, RIDE TV President. “We changed things up a bit this season, and it really kicks off with a bang. We think viewers will agree – this is our best season yet.”

Cowgirls premieres its third season with two new episodes on Wednesday, August 26, beginning at 8/7c, plus a one-hour special that highlights seasons 1 and 2 that will air before and after the new episodes. Cowgirls premiere date of August 26 is also Women’s Equality Day – established to commemorate the 1920 adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment, which denied states and federal government the right to prevent citizens from voting based upon their gender. Women fought relentlessly for their right to vote with the same spirit and passion that the women of Cowgirls bring to the sport of bronc riding, where many still believe that women should not be allowed to compete. The premiere is the perfect way to celebrate such a historic day for women.

After the August 26 premiere, RIDE TV will debut a brand new episode of Cowgirls every Wednesday at 9/8c.
